In the beginning of the last week, google has launched the application of conversation 'allo' which despite of privacy concerns has reached more than one million of downloads on the Google play store.
It becomes the first free app on the play store beating facebook messenger. And it seems to reach the other google app named 'Duo' which focuses on video sequences and reached 5 million downloads within 10 days from its launch.
The principal cause of the huge number of downloads is the big publicity and promotion of the product before its launch but the big obstacle is always to convice the users to change their old conversation apps and to replace them with new ones from google.
Despite the strengths and special features of 'allo', instant messaging applications are no longer an innovation as many anyone have used and been satisfied more than one application of this kind on various platforms such as iMessage, Facebook Messenger, Watts up and others, and unfortunately for Google, it's too late to launch this type of application.
